The basement is fully developed including flooring, finishes, plumbing systems, fixtures, utility and mechanical. The basement is ready to place and is delivered for crane-in to any location, just like our other modular home products. For more information, check out our Innovation section.

What are the time and cost savings if we build with Northplex?
Our efficient system allows the site development and foundation preparation to work in conjunction with the construction of your home. That means your modular home can be built 40% faster than a stick-built home, allowing you to move into your home faster.
Do you use extra materials in the construction phase to safeguard against damage during transportation?
Yes. We build our walls using 7/16’’ OSB sheets that are 8’X24’ long, with one sheet on the exterior wall and the second on the interior wall. With the long sheets we can cut out the window and door openings, which reduces cracking. Also, we use hurricane straps around all openings to reinforce the walls. Finally, we extend the header with an extra stud over each window. These additional materials protect the modular home during transportation and also reinforce the modular home for years to come.
How long will it take to have my modular home delivered?
From the time you come to our sales office to the day your modular home is delivered takes between 90 and 120 days. Once we have your drawings approved and all of the materials ready, the modular home will take roughly 35 working days to go through the 17 construction stations.
