Homes by Northplex started business in 2009. Our owners and management team saw an opportunity to provide solid modular homes to Western Canada, utilizing the 150,000 square foot facility in Barrhead, Alberta. The facility is so big, we can actually build up to 25 homes simultaneously. In these short years, our company has constructed over 800 homes for customers across Northern Alberta, including Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Peace River, Cold Lake and many First Nations communities, as well as in Saskatchewan, British Columbia and throughout Western Canada.
Our management team believes that every customer is unique and deserves the best service in the business. This service commitment ensures that from when you place your order to the time you move into your new modular home, our sales staff will be there to assist you with any questions you may have. Our modular homes have an extensive warranty package that adheres to the Alberta New Home Warranty Program. All of our modular homes meet or exceed the National Building Code of Canada, the Alberta Provincial Building Code and are certified under CSA standards. Homes by Northplex is also active in the community, in Barrhead and around Northern Alberta. We are a member of the Barrhead and District Chamber of Commerce and in 2013 we sponsored the 55 Plus Summer Games. We are also very active with the Kids Kottage Foundation, an organization that provides 24-hour support service to parents who need immediate support or respite when faced with a crisis.
